Warning: Not for the faint of heart
May. 29th, 2003 11:13 amThis is so disturbing I don't even know where to begin.

I clicked, I looked, and I believe the noise I made can best be transcribed as, Aa-aaaah!. Which is only a few steps removed from the unpronouncable cries of the worshippers of Lovecraft's Elder Gods. Dunno about you, but I find that appropriate.

Date: 2003-05-29 11:25 am (UTC)I think I may start calling telephones "oddities." Not in general usage, mind you. Probably just with you guys. Hey, h.l, I'm going to miss our weekly post-BtVS chats on the oddity. OK, that sentence has contextual issues. But imagine the fun of inviting friends to "call me on the oddity." "May I use your oddity?" "I have to make a long-distance oddity call." It's mostly amusing because it's an apt description of many of our conversations in the odd medium. OK, stopping now.
