truepenny: artist's rendering of Sidneyia inexpectans (hamlet)

Wrote five pages on Equus this evening. And that's a lot, in dissertation-measure. Also did a little with The Tragedy of Bussy D'Ambois, but--as I said to [livejournal.com profile] matociquala--I've gotten to the point with this thing where I don't have to work on any one piece of it for very long. I can play hummingbird and zip from flower to flower as the fancy takes me. And for some reason, that makes the whole damn thing SO much easier.

This is now an eight chapter dissertation (counting introduction and conclusion). I must be stark barking mad.

But the really weird thing is I'm enjoying it again. The reading and the arguing and the writing--it all feels worthwhile, at least for tonight.

And, you know, I'll take it. Not asking questions, not trying to analyze myself. Just wandering off into the stacks singing Tra-la-la-lally, here down in the valley.
