People who want DWJ recommendations should amble over to bonibaru's LJ, where there's a recommendation thread going. I have contributed three times and am going to stop now, having observed that this is obsessive and insane (and in the back of my head, Tara says gently, "I said 'quirky'"). I'm not good at shutting up about things that interest me.

And I just want to say, before Book 5 comes out and we get more evidence, that Silvia has exactly articulated what I see going on in Harry and Ron's friendship.

So when we get The Order of the Phoenix, and Ron selflessly sacrifices himself for Harry (no guilt-tripping allowed, mind) or otherwise demonstrates True, Pure Friendship, you can go ahead and laugh your asses off at me. 'Cause that's not what I see coming.

[ETA: I also think that Ron's friendship is actually really bad for Harry, although that may just be me over-identifying with Hermione.]
