DL(2) Ch. 6: 477 words

As per usual, the creativity kicks in about the same time I ought to be getting ready for bed.

Does this happen to anyone else? I can write at most times of day and in most conditions--although there are Issues with sunlight which are complicated and tedious--but it all seems to find a groove and a beat to dance to around about quarter after nine. It may be a circadian rhythm thing (I've known since I was a child that I would do better as a nocturnal creature), or it may just be the inherent perversity of all things, including my mind. Whatever it is, it's really annoying.

Over on Electrolite, a discussion has got going about the Civil War [American, that is. --Ed.] and how one ought to conceptualize it.

I am much too shy to jump into a discussion like that, but it's making me think.
