1. Making Light again, on the news that Fox has dropped their lawsuit against Al Franken. Much rejoicing! Everybody eat a right-wing news commentator!

2. Nice Hair fills me with delight, and I don't think I can even explain why. If you haven't been following it already, and you're moved to check it out, start at the beginning (there are only eleven strips so far, so it won't take long).

Mirrorthaw and I have just agreed it's too hot to cook. Vile weather.

Let us all sing the praises of air-conditioned libraries, where today I read one really smart article on Equus, one cheerfully loony article on Equus (from Names: The Journal of the American Name Society, so I knew what I was getting into), and three variously stupid articles on Equus. It pains me how many ways there are of misreading a play.
