Finally figured out that the reason I have been so abominably stuck with LH is that I'm trying to tell a part of the story that doesn't need to be told. It's fiction, sunshine. Sleight-of-hand is allowed. So I moved one scene back to the end of Chapter Five, where it clearly belonged, and Chapter Six can pick up two weeks later, where things may be starting to get interesting again.

And now, since I have a glare-headache, I'm going back to bed.
