There was a squirrel licking our front porch yesterday afternoon. Left a great disgusting patch of squirrel saliva, too. We are wondering (a.) is this the same squirrel that was licking the front porch last summer? and (b.) wt*F* is going on in its little rodenty brain?



Progress on revisions is slow but measurable. A definite upgrade from glacial, which is where I've been for the past week. I'm feeling a little more sanguine about things, too, which also helps.



Americans are the drama queens of Western civilization. Discuss.



Nightmares last night, the sort that you end up afraid to go to sleep because you know you're going to pick up right where you left off. Consequently, I feel like processed death on toast this morning.

Mrs. Melcham became a ghoul when the house shifted phase into another dimension. Miss Rose became something even worse, though far less dangerous. And there weren't enough doors with locks.
