Today, 1,495 words on "A Night in Electric Squidland." The draft is finished, but the story's got a horse-by-committee feel to it, the middle not being commensurate with the ends. Needs more pondering.
282 words on a new story, same continuity. These characters have a lot of story they want me to tell, but they want me to tell it in episodes. Perhaps I've been thinking too much about the narrative conventions of TV series recently. Or something.
