I have sold my novella1 "Katabasis: Seraphic Trains"2 to Tales of the Unanticipated.
THAT's the way to start the New Year, baby.

1In terms of classifying fiction by length, I am definitely a lumper rather than a splitter. My categories go like this.
1,000 words or less: flash fiction
1,000 to 9,000: short story, with 1,000 to 3,000 being inconveniently short and 6,000 to 9,000 being inconveniently long
9,000 to 15,000: novella
15,000 to 25,000: long novella
25,000 to 60,000: oh wtf is this nonsense?
60,000 and up: novel
2Furthermore, "Katabasis: Seraphic Trains" is an Artists' Challenge story, from the necklace Why Do You Linger?. Mille remerciements,
elisem!
