truepenny1,238 words on a short story, a rewrite of the story that taught me how to write short stories. Like all learning experiences, it's rather a mess.
I don't know if this rewrite is going to end up being anything remotely like the original, but I'm not worrying about it. As Delirium says in The Kindly Ones, I am following my fishie.
