Comments: Which gets me out of the scene I've been stuck in for weeks ... annnnnd into a new scene in which to become enmired. This chapter feels remarkably like my (only semi-successful) efforts to learn to drive stick. I can't feel the clutch, and the engine keeps dying.
Other work completed: rough draft of a nonfiction thingy, and a loaf of sourdough baking in the oven.
Verdict: ::very small victory dance::
And you're stopping because ... ? The engine died.
