Yesterday:
1.) 1,239 words
2.) Um. That'd be a no.
3.) Yes! 3 turnips lobbed out electronically (and The Electronic Trebuchet--or Electric Trebuchet, or Electrical Trebuchet--would be a really good name for something); one ready to go electronically this morning (now that Ideomancer is open to subs again), and two more (including one that got rejected yesterday--my turnaround time is the stuff of legend, legend I tell you!) ready to go to the post office this afternoon.

Also, I am discovering that having a list, even if I don't accomplish all the items on it, causes me to be more productive even in my procrastination and cat-vacuuming. As for example, Monday while not cleaning my desk, I inked in and put up a map of Mélusine, a tedious chore I'd been putting off since, oh, July. And yesterday while not cleaning my desk, I brought in and washed out the three seashells (two nautilus shells and one something else) that the previous owner of the house had used as border decorations in the garden. They are now on the whatnot in the dining room, looking almost unbearably beautiful. My accomplishments are not awe-inspiring, but they do make me feel better.

So, today:
1.) 1,000 words
2.) Errands to post office and pharmacy
3.) The desk glowers at me.
4.) The laundry glowers also.

Not the invasion of Normandy, but still a plan.

I find this too. I'm writing myself small lists this week, and getting more done as a result.

Electric Trebuchet sounds like a bar band.

I looooove lists. But yes, I am more productive with them than without and the longer the list, the more productive I get. If I have 4 things to do, I may do only 1 of them, but if I have 10 things, I might do 5, plus one or two other things that sort of sneak in on the side.
