Character A obliged by saying the unforgivable to Character B last night. But now Character B and I have to figure out how to respond.
The one blessing of writing argument scenes is that you never have to worry about l'esprit d'escalier. Both A and B have to shut up and wait for me to think of the perfect thing to say.
Good thing I don't have that power in real life--the temptation to misuse it would be just frightful.
In case anyone was wondering, my knuckles hurt like a sonofabitch.
