Last year, I wrote about my childhood.
There's been a lot of ugliness bubbling to the surface this month in a number of different arenas--the Jena 6, the "miscegenation" contretemps at the Daily Deviant, some appallingly arrogant people thinking they had the right to insist that Toby Buckell "prove" his multiracial heritage ... so, yes, clearly racism needs to be talked about and questioned and dissected and undercut and disassembled and exposed for the destructive nonsense that it is.

I don't know anything about the three examples you mentioned above--guess it's time to Google.
