truepennyToday I told my editor I think I need another six months to finish Corambis. This means that the book will not be published in 2008. I am at peace with this. Or I will be, if the book I have in six months is at least as good as Mélusine, The Virtu, and The Mirador--i.e., worth the wait for all y'all.
I just don't think I can get it done faster and have it be something I'm proud of. And I've worked so long and so hard on these books that I'm not willing to compromise on second-best.
