I am trying to encourage my neighbour's son with his Eng Lit course (he's 15) and he is fascinated by close-text reading, which he has never come across at all. What do they teach them in those schools?

Of course, it helps that he's studying 'Romeo and Juliet' and that close-text reading includes all the dirty jokes!
