Heather Corinna--she who took my fabulous author photo, if you're playing along at home--has posted the incredibly beautiful pictures she took at Fourth Street of Elise's jewelry and their people.

Now that I've picked my jaw back up off the floor, here are the links to the photos of me (as much for my reference as anything else):

Healing Is Not About Pretty (this one has at least three stories in it)--and again (and, okay, how phenomenal a photographer is Heather? she can make the fact that I have my eyes closed look intentional)

Why Do You Linger?--and again

Rhino Carries the Moon (I love the fact that I'm out of focus and distracted--I think my hair is coming down--but Rhino is sharp and perfect and beautiful)--and again, this time with me as the distrait Gothic governess--and one more time

Three Letters from a Teddy Bear on Veterans' Day--and again

Sidhe Tigers

Draco campestris

Somewhere Beneath Those Waves Was Her Home (which--hey!--I just mentioned earlier)--and again

Three Letters from the Queen of Elfland

Lovely pix...

pretty shinies! I'm mad for the peacock coloured, many stranded piece.

I knew Heather's work from Scarleteen and R.H. Reality Check, so when I saw her name for your portrait's photo credit, it felt like viewing the universe's clockwork more clearly.

I *love* the Linger (again) pic of you, such a great smile!! (And a lovely piece of jewelry too!)

Great pictures! And the jewelry really is stunning. I really love Somewhere Beneath Those Waves Was Her Home.

I didn't know you knew Heather! OMG! I am friends with her from way back. :D That's awesome. And your headshot is seriously one of the best pics I have ever seen her take. I have thought, more than once, that if I am ever so fortunate as to get published, I could do worse than to fly out to have her do my portrait. :D

Oh, man. I think Elise should have a couple of regular models, and you should be one of them. Yes, the shinies are yummy, but the combination of you and Heather Corinna produces stunning photos.

I always wanted to get Heather to take some portrait photos of me. Alas, I live in entirely the wrong part of the country, but I admire her work so very much.

These are amazing, really. Especially the second Healing Is Not About Pretty picture.

I particularly like the photos of you with "Three Letters from a Teddy Bear on Veterans' Day" and especially "Draco Campestris"; there's something about that high angle shot that works for you (see also: that author photo of you, which is still one of the best author photos I have EVER seen).

Did I tell you that I have an Elise necklace now too? It's a pendant called Black Sun. It is not as colorful and sparkly-shiny as your many shinies; it is large and grey and extraordinarily lovely in a rather severe sort of way, and I wear it on a black leather cord. It suits me. *g*

Heather Corinna FTW.

re: the pendant, you hadn't told me, but huzzah! (And I am shocked--shocked, I tell you--that it is gray.)

You have the sort of face that I think must be great fun for a talented photographer to play with. Heather Corinna's photos of you (and also some I've seen from [livejournal.com profile] ddb) are beautiful.

Great pictures. I love long necklaces with many strands, but I never wear them because they keep getting in the way.

And now we can see where Felix got his earrings from. ;) :D

Actually, I only got the fourth set of holes a couple years ago (after getting both of the cartilage piercings), though my ears have been triple-pierced since college. So I guess Felix is a bad influence on me as much as I'm a bad influence on him.

I'm too chicken to get more holes than the first set I got when I was ten. :D

I know. I should have told you to sit down or something.
