Odyssey Con GoH switcheroo

So Tobias Buckell was a GoH at Odd Con this year, but has had to bow out, due to impending twins. (I think this is an excellent reason to miss a GoH appearance--not only is it inarguable, it's happy!) However, Patrick Rothfuss has agreed to take his place.

The other GoHs, Emma Bull (coffeeem) and Georgie Schnobrich (as far as I know, Georgie does not maintain a web presence), are still attending as scheduled.

As I said in my earlier con-going post, I will be at Odd Con. I'm even reprising last year's last-minute improvisation of a novel writing workshop. Bring the first 500-1000 words and find out just how much they tell people about your novel! It worked surprisingly well, although we will not be repeating the FOUR AND A HALF HOUR marathon, thank you very much.

This is going to sound extremely fan-stalkerish, but I'll only be able to attend one day of OddCon this year and I was wondering what day would give me the highest chances of running into you. Any idea what the schedule is going to be like?

I plan to attend--and in fact have items scheduled for--all three days, but my reading is on Saturday at 1:15.

Whee! As another reader from Germany (maybe those German publishing houses should take another good hard look at your books) can I just say: Hooray for Patrick Rothfuss! I follow very few author blogs, and yours and his are some of the few. May I just say that in my dream world, you and him and China Miéville are writing a book together with your characters, Patrick's Plot and China's world.
