Verdict: Averaging out to 1000 words a day. Not my top form, but not too bad. Must, however, NOT NEGLECT DIS merely because pleased with progress on fiction. *sigh*
I do these totals, btw, not because I think y'all are fascinated by them, but because they keep me honest. I don't have any deadlines; the only schedule I have is what I impose on myself. It's very easy for great tracts of time to be inconspicuously frittered away under those circumstances. But this way, if I'm not getting any work done, at least I have to be AWARE of it. Yes, it's true, the LJ is my externalized work ethic.
