HUG O' WAR

I will not play at tug o' war.
I'd rather play at hug o' war.
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

I really like that one, and I'm impressed with your stamina being able to keep this up.

Yeah, we'll see how long I can keep this up without resorting to (a.) recycling poets or (b.) internet searches.

Shel Silverstein is wonderful; I've had Where the Sidewalk Ends since I was four years old. Has he been imported to Britain, or is he just an American thing?

Just American. I hate to admit, I first heard of him when he died and people posted about it on rasseff. I've seen some things of his since.

I walked into the local feminist bookstore today, on the track of a birthday present for a friend, and literally the first book which met my eyes was Where the Sidewalk Ends. I decided accordingly that it was Meant To Be and will bring it to you at Minicon.
