I'm not sure there's anywhere that we can actually go sadly; these people are, as you said, not going to be persuaded by logical argument - that they don't accept that Irving really lost proves that reasonably conclusively.

This is, from their perspective, an article of faith. From our perspective, it's a matter of reason, of history - the evidence is, after all, all on our side. You were right; there's no way to win this, sadly. However, engaging does allow the possibility of losing which rather means that nonengagement is the only possibility.
