there was a conversation over in Synecdochic's journal (http://synecdochic.dreamwidth.org/) the other week about putting a bar of soap under the bottom sheet as a treatment for RLS in bed, and I am nosy and wondering if this is something you've ever heard of and if so, ever tried? Apparently it works through various theories of magic, I'm not sure entirely which ones....

I'haven't had RLS since I was in my teens, and never really badly, but I still found myself fascinated by the conversation (and found myself agreeing with the person who wanted to get a group of people using a soap-shaped piece of wood under the sheet, and possibly another group with soap not shaped like a soap bar, as controls, that's the nosy researcher part of me...)
