HL pointed out to me that those who do NOT live inside my head may find my new cipher system deeply confusing. So I'll tag my mystic abbreviations with numbers to show where in the sequence of The Project each book falls. This is of course predicated on the egotistical assumption that those not living inside my head give a flying fuck about any of this, but, hey. My LJ, my rules.

So, progress for yesterday:
DL (2)
Chapter 3: 796 words
Chapter 4: 259 words
Total: 1055 words

Also, hey, finished Chapter 3, which comes in at 13,094 words (54 pages). So, if you'll pardon a bit of math:

DL (2) thus far:
Chapter 1: 15,549
Chapter 2: 12,988
Chapter 3: 13,094

Total: 41,631 words

Well, see, I was prepared to learn your cypher system. You gave us the key. Although, concurrent use of the numbers may help me learn the system without having to refer back to the earlier post, and odds were always slightly in favor of me being too lazy to do that most of the time. Now I just have to train my brain not to interpret "DL (2)" as book 2 of something called DL. I know, I know, that's what the parentheses are for. I'm good!
