So, not completely certain on this, but I got the impression from the WSJ that it was possibly quite a lot more than 30k? Like both the union protesters and the education protesters managed to get numbers in the 25k-35k range, and those groups were different.
I cannot believe the republicans would look at that and not get nervous about 2012.
