O dear: conspiracy theorists in our nice archives, we hatez them, we doez. Given half a chance they will fix an archivist with their glittering eye and expound to them for what seems like eternity, and certainly constitutes a significant chunk out of the working day, about their Important Rad Research in ways which make no sense whatsoever and leave the head reeling. So we try not to engage.
Plus, o dear, the whole thing about 'if the record isn't there, it's proof of a conspiracy!!!!' As opposed to not existing in the first place, or being in the corner of the store in which the pipes burst one winter, as a result of which everything in that corner was stuffed into the boiler, covered with mould, after the waters went down.
Fortunately, our place doesn't have any Borden related material. We do, however, have some material relating to a peripheral figure in the Ripper case.... (runs and hides)
