Eh, it's likely to be a story wherein I take a highly improbably suspect (Francis Thompson was the one I was considering, because of his short story "Finis Coronat Opus") and work him into the whole Onyx Court situation, which may involve rejiggering details anyway. So mainly I would want to know the basic facts, so I could then decide how to set up my own version. More recent subtleties are unlikely to make a difference in that.
