(Okay, yes, apparently I need a Bonnie-and-Clyde tag. Gibsland, Louisiana, is approximately where they died (unless it's Sailes), and that's the only point in their careers when you can really pin them down to a location.)

I recall seeing the "Bonnie and Clyde Death Car" once, not in Vegas. I think someone had it on tour. And, going through my mother's stuff after she died, we came up with a photo of Mom with a shotgun, cigarette hanging from her lips, lounging on the running board of a 1930s V-8 Ford. I'm pretty sure she was playing Bonnie Parker . . .

I've seen what purports to be the Bonnie and Clyde Death Car in Virginia City, Nevada, though I've read that the *real* Death Car is in another Nevada town. Who knows?

Video games have corrupted me. I can no longer see "Bonnie and Clyde" without thinking of "Vickie and Vance", the notorious couple from (fictional) Fallout: New Vegas, who started their crime spree two days before Bonnie and Clyde started theirs. Vicki and Vance caused mayhem throughout the Mojave, hotwiring cars, shoplifting, and passing bad checks. They met their tragic end in a hail of cop bullets (met for another gang, actually--Vicki and Vance accidentally got in the way). It was noted afterward that Vance was armed with a fearsome machine gun which could have killed as many as fifty people had he used it or, in point of fact, had it actually had any ammunition in it.
