Dis. progress(!)
May. 14th, 2003 01:14 pmIntegrated the useful bits of Prosser into the Hamlet chapter and the introduction. Read the introduction of Janet Adelman's Suffocating Mothers and got useful bits into the Titus Andronicus chapter and the Richard III section of the smorgasbord chapter. Will read her Hamlet chapter later today or possibly tomorrow and see if there's anything applicable. Once I've finished with that, it will definitely be time to print the Hamlet chapter out and give it to HL. Also need to go back and apply Prosser to The Spanish Tragedy, because she's actually more helpful and insightful with it than she is with Hamlet.
This is not, you understand, particularly momentous progress, but it is nevertheless progress, and I am nevertheless pleased with myself about it. And I like Janet Adelman; she does smart psychoanalytic criticism and is worth reading regardless of relevance to dis. or lack thereof.
