First chunk of novel: 13,096 words, and I have absolutely no idea what percentage of the final word-count this is going to turn out to be. But it feels like an accomplishment.
Also a 3-page argumentative chunk of dissertation. I keep reminding myself that when I finish the section on The Changeling, I get to read The Revengers Tragedy. It's not quite adequate motivation all by itself, but it helps.
