Have edited Chapter Three. That and a ridiculously long nap ate up the afternoon. However, I refuse to be upset with myself for failing to exceed my goals.

Also put the bits of the Elizabethan and Jacobean chapter together, so at least I've got things organized.

Reading I Capture the Castle for the first time, interspersed with Have His Carcase for the (n+1)th time. Have to stop reading ICtC periodically because I'm over-invested.

I think I was about seven when I first read ICtC, but I didn't understand it until I read it again when I was about 14, which I did because something happened to me that reminded me of it. So it's such a long time since I read it with narrative tension that I can hardly imagine.

It has the best end.

No, actually, On First Looking Into Chapman's Homer has the best end. I Capture the Castle only has the second best. But it's still really really good.
