I want for the people on my reading list to stop having craptastic days RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. They none of them deserve it, and I'm running out of platitudes to respond with, which makes me feel even worse about their craptastic days than I already did. (To all of you--and if you feel like you ought to be on this list, you are--I offer sympathy and commiseration and hopes that things will improve pronto.)

My day was pretty good. Small annoyances, nothing more.

I know what you mean about running out of things to say, though. Yet LJ is sometimes so like a conversation that one feels an uncontrollable need to interject at least sympathetic noises to indicate you're listening/reading. There's a linguistics term for that which I can't bring to mind just now.
