Today, I have sent out two turnips that had been languishing since, um, well, let's just say for a while and leave it at that. I also entrusted the cem of Mélusine to the good people of FedEx and feel an incommensurate number of pounds lighter.
Plus other errands.
Work qua work? Not so much. Although I did get another bad patch of "The Mare's Nest" fixed, and made a very tentative dip the toe in to prove that YES it's FUCKING COLD start on this rereading of Kekropia that I have to do before I can write any more of it. The suck monkeys, by the way, think this is just fascinating.
(And I just realized that my mental imagoe of a suck monkey, in this particular context, is Mrs. Coulter's daemon from His Dark Materials. Aieesh. Not sure I like what that says about my brain.)
