I seem to be ill.

No particular symptoms except the aches and the wobbles and a threatening feeling in my sinuses like I may be in for some very nasty internal weather.

I may be spending a lot of the next week in bed. Or I may not. You never can tell with bees.

Tuck up and read fun things! And sleep.

May the cold be over quickly.

I hope you turn out to be a minimum value of unwell given the symptoms; take good care of yourself, and get better soon.

Ph, yeah, those cumulo-nimbus congestions. Read frothy stuff, and drink tea with honey.

Belgian chicken soup with leeks at your disposal should you so require. Not that your beloved spouse isn't perfectly capable of cooking for you; just felt like the thing to offer.

Chicken soup. Zinc. Vitamin C.

A person above posted they got a migraine after they finished their diss. Also I know that my sister (mother of 2) would only get sick on vacation. Apparently this is true of lots of moms -- it's as if their immune system go ah-ha, FINALLY I have the time to get sick!

So maybe there's a bit of something similar going on with you. Anyway, feel better. I tried to get a friend of mine to read your journal to inspire her (she's got all but the footnotes done on her diss) but have stopped such encouragement since you're done and she's, er, not...

Anyway, congrats. And feel better...

Post-thesis syndrome? (once you've posted your thesis, the body says "oh thank god *CRASH*")

May you have many fun books to read, at least, and an interesting ceiling.

Sounds like something vaguely flu-ish...probably a reaction to all the stress you've been under with your dissertation. Take care of yourself, rest and drink lots of fluids! ~hugs~
