progress is being made

Have finished editing Ch. 6, which also means I've finished editing Part One and furthermore that I'm roughly halfway through the ms.

This afternoon, I'll go on to Ch. 7.

Find myself working out things about the books to come (even Book 3, which is already written) as I edit this one, which is good. It means that all four books will actually have some interconnectedness. The narrative will be linear, but there will be at least a little thematic backstitching, which makes me feel better about the whole bloated, monstrous project as a whole.

Boy, don't I wish I had an answer to that.

I don't know. Even once I finish editing Book 1 and send it to my agent, it still has to be bought by somebody. I hope that won't take long, but unlike Mal, I am not sanguine.
