The Marriage of True Minds clocks in at an inconvenient 26,760 words [make that 26,809, on the advice of my valiant and stout-hearted beta, matociquala. --Ed.], making it a citizen of what Stephen King so accurately describes as the "anarchy-ridden literary banana republic" of the novella.

I don't care (she says, perhaps a trife defiantly). I like it anyway.

And, hey, I wrote it in six days. That's not too shabby.

Also have a new start on my current Artist's Challenge project: 225 words of a much weirder story.

Life is pretty damn good.
