1. With earworms, as with hiccups, the cures are mostly worse than the disease.

2. It's amazing how many bookcases you can fit into a one-bedroom apartment if you want to badly enough.

Bouncy, well-known Bach—say, Brandenburg or Goldberg—can drive away most of my earworms, and I don't mind their hanging around for a while. The only heavier gun I have is Beethoven's 9th, but while it'll replace anything—even "Jeremey"—I'm useless for work for the duration.
