The Book is ready to go to New York

We have a rug in our living room which belonged to my great-grandfather. It's a not-very-good Oriental, threadbare to the point that very little of the pattern actually remains.

I mention it because that's how my mind feels at the moment.

Threadbare, napless, flat, and very very tired, but with faint remnants of beauty and grace still visible.
