Plush Cthulhu sits atop the monitor and broods ...

I've got a definite theme going this morning.

First [livejournal.com profile] arcaedia's brilliant Cthulhu clock.

Then these pictures (which [livejournal.com profile] fuschoid linked to in a comment on a post of [livejournal.com profile] melymbrosia's about bizarre fruit).

And, while I'm at it, what the heck. Have you seen Tales of the Plush Cthulhu?

If you want a Plush Cthulhu of your very own--and he is, I should warn you, a cuddly little eldritch horror--Toy Vault will be happy to suggest some options. (Also, if you have a lonely Plush Cthulhu, how about getting him a Nyarlethotep? Or a Shoggoth? We wants a Shoggoth, yes, precious, we does. Gollum.)

And don't forget Cthuugle for all your Lovecraft needs.

Well, not forgot per se. I remembered it existed but told myself I was making it up. Delirium or something. Thanks!

Chad was tempted by a Nosferatu clock by the same artist, but not quite enough to meet the minimum bid. I wish I'd grabbed a card, I can't remember who the artist was now.

There is also, heaven help us all, a musical. Apparently you can buy a CD of it, but that probably wouldn't be a very good idea.

And my mind was so fogged by the horror of it all, that I forgot to put a link to the thing.

Don't see why I should be the only one to suffer!

I am not at all certain that thank you is in any remote way the correct response.

But that's really really funny.

We have several plush Cthulhus, including one that [livejournal.com profile] nellorat made before they became fashinable.

Homemade Cthulhu is even better.

(There's a whole disturbing imagistic structure here with the Elder Gods and food, but I think I won't pursue it.)

Here is an example of the kind of behavior Plush Cthulhu can lead to:
