I am actually making progress, albeit slowly and tediously, and a little like a turtle trying to walk uphill on ice.

Yesterday, I printed out my introduction and reverse-outlined it--discovering in the process, as I said to [livejournal.com profile] matociquala, that the thing has all the structural integrity of a plate of dingoes' kidneys.

Today, I took care of two and a half things in the conclusion, making it "done"--at least until and unless the revisions to everything else say otherwise.

And now, because I have no shame, I'm going to go back to Neverwinter Nights.

Progress! Progress! Woo!

Neverwinter Nights is a cool title.

It is.

It's also a computer game, of the hack'n'slash variety. No redeeming social value, except, I suppose, that it's keeping me off the streets.

Senseless violence is always good.

Ahem.

Sympathy. With a little bit of fellow feeling. I started a degree course this year and have just handed in a couple of essays after a gap of about 20 years. talk about carving granite.
