2. On a whim, I put together a DIY Scully, starting from a red-headed Barbie. If I had a digital camera, I would totally post pictures. Her gun has had to be rubber-banded to her hand, but I've managed to give her that strand of hair that would never stay back. She's ridiculous, but also very pleasing.
3. Purchased this year's Tiptree winner, Set This House in Order by Matt Ruff, from Dreamhaven.
4. This panel was extremely interesting, although Karen Joy Fowler should have talked more. It is making me think things about SF and romance and "romance" and genre which I will have to post about later, because right now I need to go take a shower.
