Other work accomplished: Hacked at one of my older short stories today. It started out at 7,000 words, dropped to 5,800, and then rose again to 6,500. They're better words, but since the goal was to get the sucker down to 5,000, I'm not exactly sure whether to count it as progress or not.
Verdict: Dunno. Magic 8-Ball says: ?
