I have actually achieved something today, for the first time since, oh, the start of October. Not wordcount (although, says the Pollyanna voice in the back of my head, today isn't over yet), but the thing that had to happen before there could be more wordcount. Which since it was a complicated thing, and kind of a pain in the ass (which I almost typed as pin in the ass, which, you know, not exactly inappropriate, either, although y'all in the back row can keep your smart remarks about donkeys to yourselves), I feel good about.
