Also, I lobbed out six (count 'em, 6) turnips, finally bouncing back from the five-rejections-in-one-week that made the end of October so less than pleasant.

And it occurred to me, pursuant to these conversations, that if one were to write a straightdirect parody of Pern, one's protagonist would obviously be a green rider named P'gell.
