Yesterday sucked, for boring health reasons. (That's the thing about chronic health conditions. They're So. Goddamned. Boring.) But I did get 356 words in Ch. 10, and [livejournal.com profile] matociquala and I figured out some more of the plot stuff in ACtW.

(And, yes, in case anyone is wondering, I know I'm insane for working on two books at once, but the truth of the matter is, it's a sign my brain is happy and functional when it wants more than one project at a time. I'm hoping to coax it into staying happy so that I don't have a godawful crunch in April trying to finish Kekropia by my deadline.)

And last night was Crossover Night in Truepenny's subconscious. Aside from the dream about a battalion of Gondorians put on trial for murder for chopping down the White Tree of Gondor (with Faramir as an expert witness, and some sort of very peculiar alchemical version of a lie-detector test), I had an episode of The Vampire Slayer from U.N.C.L.E., plus a very long, involved dream about Lucius Malfoy (definitely played by Jason Isaacs) trying to take over the world with a plan that involved divorcing Narcissa in favor of Seven of Nine. I don't know what any of this means, except that somebody set the blender on High.

Indirectly, I know what you mean about chronic health conditions: casual acquaintances and less-close friends will ask how [livejournal.com profile] timprov is feeling, and I can't just shout, "Tenth verse, same as the first!" the way I want to. (With close friends, I do. Or I tell them detail, or I make an expressive face.)

I hope you get into a non-sucky sameness instead. "Oh, I've felt great for three months straight now": that is the kind of boring I wish for you.

It is? Lovely. I like happy and functional, as opposed to crazy and confused.

Your dreams are fun.

The Vampire Slayer from U.N.C.L.E.

That so rocks.
