truepennyYesterday, I finished the short story I started between drafts of Kekropia and uprooted the second too-close-to-the-foundations tree. This part of the Midwest doesn't have the red clay that Tennessee does, and you have to dig down farther to find it, but man, clay is clay. And it is a bitch.
Also had an idea for an sf/horror story about a suburban housefrau fighting the alien spores that have started seeding in her yard. :P
