update (a.k.a. the first three thoughts to cross my mind)

Yesterday, I finished the short story I started between drafts of Kekropia and uprooted the second too-close-to-the-foundations tree. This part of the Midwest doesn't have the red clay that Tennessee does, and you have to dig down farther to find it, but man, clay is clay. And it is a bitch.

Also had an idea for an sf/horror story about a suburban housefrau fighting the alien spores that have started seeding in her yard. :P

As long as the typesetter hasn't set everything in italics and removed all indentations, you should be okay.

Page proofs are fun. You get to bitch out lowly typesetters for loose lines and bad hyphenation.
