This is mostly just saying, yes, I'm here (or technically "there," at the moment, since I'm currently at home), yes, please come say hi even if I don't know who you are or you think I won't remember you (and maybe I won't, but who knows? we might be delightfully surprised).

About all I did yesterday was help set up the Tiptree Auction table for the Gathering and abscond with

sosostris2012 to dinner: dinner is the plan, the plan is Laotian. We did discover on the way back to the hotel that a chorus of geeks performing "Jabberwocky" is a 1992 Saab is a thing of both beauty and weirdness, and therefore a joy forever.

And of course I admired all the shinies* at

elisem's table. That would go without saying if I didn't want to encourage everyone else to go admire the shinies, and possibly buy some.
