In other news, I win last night's award for Best Dingbat, for which I would greatly prefer not to have been nominated.

I fell out of bed.

In my defense, let me say that I was dreaming, and in my dream a small person, shaped not unlike a top and wearing a rainbow crochet beret, was coming after me with a very long, very sharp sword. It's the only time I can remember thinking, in a dream, I am SO fucked. So I was trying to get away from her before she went all Yoda and sliced me to ribbons, and of course there was a door that was stuck; I slammed into it, trying to get it to budge, and--

--landed on my ass on the floor.

"Spouse?" Mirrorthaw said, sleepy and bewildered. "Did you just fall out of bed?"

"Yes," I said, and I think it was at that point I started laughing.
