Your excitement makes the Young Chang jealous, I've not applauded it enough lately. Read your book, love it, mind if I friend? I tend to chat and comment a bit though, so say shut up if you like.
I believe the first thing I played was "House of the Rising Sun," since the arrangement of that I have is simple enough I wasn't going to come crashing down with my fingers all in a clove hitch.
And I've found myself playing at random intervals throughout the day--just going out to the living room, playing for half an hour or so, then coming back to the computer.
I've never been good enough for anything but the simplest Bach. I'm playing a lot of jazz and blues (not well, mind you, but a lot), teaching myself "I'm Beginning to See the Light," a little Beethoven and other classical or pseudo-classical things I learned as a teeanger.
At the moment, there's no regimen. I'm just playing.
(YOUNG FRED: Just playing what? RINGO: Just playin' around.* (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063823/))

Who sounds just fine on a Blüthner grand, in case anybody was worried.
