If you're anywhere near Hurricane Katrina, I hope that you and your loved ones, both human and animal, are safe and will stay safe, and that the devastation will not be insurmountable.

I'm an atheist, and don't believe in higher powers, but I'm lighting a funky purple candle for New Orleans. Because there's nothing else I can do.
